Always use a wool program and do not exceed 500 rpm for spinning. Contrary to what one might imagine, cashmere does not tolerate fabric softener. Hand washing is also an alternative, following the same guidelines as machine washing: gently knead it for a few minutes without wringing it. The cashmere sweater should always be dried flat to maintain its original shape. If the knit shows some creases, it can be ironed with a gentle iron without stretching the fabric.
